Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 11 years of experience in digital media, sales, marketing, or product roles.
- Experience working with digital organizations.
- Experience identifying client’s issues to defining customer and product strategy, enabling long-term opportunities.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience providing product and domain expertise and lead end-to-end responsibilities for product area related client projects for one or multiple customers to increase product adoption.
- Experience establishing and advancing goals and priorities, balancing the needs of Google PAs, the sales organization, and customers.
- Ability to influence executive-level stakeholders with competing objectives to address customer product needs and facilitate agreements.
- Ability to be a thought leader of Google product and engaging landscape.
- Ability to drive product thought leadership for Google, sharing expertise with peers and customers.

As a Platforms Sales Engineer, you'll work with Google's largest customers to help them achieve their business goals by architecting technology and data solutions that deliver great marketing experiences, both now and into the future as our industry involves. We are curious and tenacious problem solvers who love communicating tech and data solutions with clarity to executives in order to drive meaningful impact against some of their toughest issues. You will use your industry and product expertise to help consult with clients to identify how adopting Google technology and data solutions will integrate and improve their existing marketing technology architecture. You will be white-boarding, providing in-UI product demos, and storytelling as means to make a proposal really come to life.Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.Responsibilities
- Partner with sales teams to sell new ads products and advanced marketing solutions by consulting with clients to understand their needs using designing technical diagrams and guidelines.
- Translate technical solutions into clear business benefits through compelling storytelling and narrative building, engaging with both executive and day-to-day contacts to ensure effective communication.
- Provide thought leadership to customers on key industry and competitor trends, such as privacy and Artificial Intelligence (AI) for marketing, helping them stay ahead in a changing landscape.
- Leverage industry and product expertise to advise clients on how to best integrate Google technology and improve their existing marketing architecture, ensuring a seamless and effective solution.
- Scale knowledge and upskill teams by leading product demos, whiteboarding with clients on their data infrastructure, and sharing successful strategies with both the Sales Engineering and Platforms teams.
