Strategy and Operations Associate, Global Partnerships Sellside BizOps

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working in a sales organization or with sales incentivization programs.
  • Experience in process, project or program management.
  • Experience in data and spreadsheet analysis (e.g., examination of large data sets, generating insights/conclusions and revealing important facts/trends).
  • Excellent communication, documentation, presentation, and analytical skills.

About the job

Within Global Partnerships, the Sellside organization works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The team partners with Publishers and App Developers of all sizes to promote their ad inventory, working with Google's broad range of partner solutions including AdSense, AdMob, and Ad Manager across mobile, display, and video formats, helping our partners and their audiences get the most out of the web.

As the BizOps team, we support and improve ongoing operations in areas such as Sales tools & processes, deal making and contracting, learning & development, Sales enablement services and vendor management. We equip the business for future success by driving strategic planning and decision making and by managing projects and key initiatives to accelerate growth.

As part of the Sellside BizOps team, you will own and optimize projects, tools, and processes as part of our Sales & Business operations. You will work with stakeholders across Sales and other functions in all regions, generate actionable insights, identify opportunities, and save time for our Sales teams. Examples include running effective regional revenue call, analyzing & reporting on core sales hygiene metrics, conducting research projects, or rolling out global workstreams to APAC stakeholders.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

Responsibilities

  • Envision, scope, document, lead, and execute regional strategic projects and planning for APAC Sellside.
  • Own pieces of our Sales Operations such as Sales Pipeline, driving continuous improvement in existing processes and programs, and optimize communication to distributed stakeholders across the Sellside.
  • Build trusted relationships with Sales leadership and key cross-functional stakeholders (across Publisher Intelligence, Finance, etc.) to effectively advise on shaping the strategy and operations that will drive revenue growth and deliver on OKRs (e.g., strategic planning, identifying and prioritizing strategic initiatives).
  • Define, set, and track metrics to reach desired outcomes across both activities completed and outputs achieved.
  • Create and document structure, processes, and best practices via clear and concise communication. Craft and deliver executive-level documentation and presentations with applicable narratives, and prepare, lead and moderate effective meetings.
