Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in software development.
  • 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
  • 3 years of experience with embedded systems.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience working in a large structured organization.
  • Experience bringing up new prototype hardware systems.
  • Knowledge of wireless communication.
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.

The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. Responsibilities

  • Innovate and develop embedded software for modem systems, focusing on scalable frameworks and new feature implementation.
  • Design, implement, and tune algorithms to optimize system performance, power, and thermal metrics.
  • Create comprehensive test solutions, including factory calibration systems and automated regression tests to ensure feature validation and performance measurement.
  • Develop system and developer tools aimed at enhancing overall system optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, scope projects, and ensure compliance and conformance.
