Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
  • Experience in working with C-level executives and cross-functionally.
  • Experience in managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in technology industry.
  • Experience in leading operational initiatives.
  • Experience with negotiating agreements or transactions.
  • Ability to create and present presentations to executives and communicate with technical management.
  • Ability to operate in a matrixed organization and build relationships.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with partners to bring the best of Google to power business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships across Cloud, Ads, Search, Google Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments, and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies, and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

In this role you will lead the cross-Google strategy for partners in the Tech industry. You will also develop subject matter expertise in the Tech industry and share best practices that address tests and opportunities for Tech companies globally with cross-Google stakeholders. You will test, advise, and support business and product teams to optimize Google’s partner engagements and develop strategies to ensure Google’s success in an engaging landscape. You will combine your market knowledge on partners with thinking, problem solving abilities and collaborating skills to develop insightful recommendations to Google executives.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $134,000-$196,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Manage partnership strategy for Tech partners across Business Development, Product, Legal, and other cross-functional stakeholders. Drive cross-Google alignment to ensure communication and successful landing of initiatives.
  • Provide input on new partnership opportunities, agreement negotiations, market announcements, and executive decision-making. Drive consensus on partnership outcomes that balance value and risk.
  • Manage escalations and recommend risk mitigation paths, consulting with Business Development, legal, participants, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment around executive communications and risk mitigation.
  • Gather data from internal and external sources to become a recognized expert on specific companies in the Tech industry to inform analysis on the impact to business or approach.
  • Lead projects that address cross-cutting issues and opportunities impacting Tech companies globally. Develop engagement strategies and briefings for Google’s executives.
