Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in compliance, risk management, investigation, auditing, legal, or consulting.
  • 3 years of experience working with Learning Management Systems.
  • Experience in Data Management, Data Integration, or Data Domain, System Integration, Distributed Databases, SQL Pipelines.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience organizing data and applying business context to improve processes or operations.

The Google Compliance team makes sure that our business is always consistent with the current financial regulations. Comprised of multitaskers, this team balances Google's legal and compliance requirements with the dynamic needs of our users and the values of our company. As part of this team, you proactively identify pain points and gaps in existing policy frameworks and find innovative solutions. You develop efficient compliance systems and work with teams to implement these across the organization. You are thorough in all you do and see to it that as Google pursues our next big idea, we always have our bases covered.

As Compliance Data and Operations Specialist, you will be at the forefront of promoting an ethical and compliant culture across Google. You will manage the technology strategy for compliance training at Google globally, including the internal systems connecting the Compliance Learning Management System with the broader Google data ecosystem. The Compliance Education & Awareness team is responsible for compliance training, communication and awareness processes that help to ensure we are following the policies, guidelines, and the laws and regulations that impact our innovative products; and ensure the business achieves its goals consistent with the law and the company’s expectations.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $107,000-$153,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Drive and manage the technology strategy for compliance training at Google globally, including the data generated by the Compliance Learning Management System (LMS) and the systems and teams leveraging the data (BigQuery, SQL, Python).
  • Lead LMS data integration and ensure accurate, organized enrollment data through proactive internal cleanup.
  • Manage Learning Management System (LMS) vendor and stakeholder relationships.
  • Manage user support channels providing troubleshooting and feedback.
  • Be an expert that continuously enhances a strategy that results in delivery of education and awareness through blended learning (virtual, in-person, embedded tools/chatbots) to impart compliance and ethics knowledge and awareness.
