Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience working in a power supply design, power management integrated circuit architecture and PCB layout technical environment.
- 3 years of experience in technical leadership.
Preferred qualifications:
- 10 years of experience working in fluid work environments.
- Experience in power supply design and knowledge of DC-DC power conversion topologies, power management integrated circuit architecture and PCB layout.
- Experience debugging devices using low-level software, JTAG, UART, etc.
- Knowledge of analog design.
- Understanding of product thermals, Integrated Circuit (IC) and product packaging challenges/limitations.

Responsibilities
- Work with other hardware engineers to analyze power tree architecture and component selection trade-offs. Work cross-functionally across the organization to drive solutions.
- Communicate with leading power vendors and track industry trends. Collaborate and influence these partners to obtain solutions/features for Pixel hardware.
- Design and implement proof of concept power solutions for next generation designs. Author and complete verification test protocols for these with support from vendor and internal test teams
- Perform rigorous testing and correlation of proposed solutions against data provided by silicon vendors. Drive closure to any issues.
- Build debug/test hardware or models that allow for characterization of proposed power solutions. This will also include software development to support these tools.
