Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of technical program management work experience.
- 5 years of experience in a leadership role with/without direct reports.
- Experience with enterprise network design and operations in a global environment.
Preferred qualifications:
- 8 years of experience managing cross-functional/team projects.
- Marine Cable Operations experience - especially in cable planning and repair coordination in an Network Operations Center/Context (NOC).
- Strong knowledge of Optical Transport network protocols, systems, platforms topologies, and technologies.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. As the Network Operations Center (NOC) Regional Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Network Operations Center, ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the organization's network infrastructure. This role involves ensuring a team of NOC technicians, effectively managing incidents, and proactively monitoring network performance to prevent outages and minimize downtime. A key element of the early onboarding of the role will be to establish the regional NOC, under a Global structure across related processes and workflows necessary to support Operations commencing.

Responsibilities
- Drive the regional submarine network day-to-day operations coordination and monitoring.
- Work with external customers and partners for related network assurance and performance management activities including liaising and reporting.
- Support domain experience within operational improvement projects, cross-functional initiatives, assist in developing and implementing performance strategies, as well as review and continually evaluate workflows, systems usage, and related processes.
- Ensure that all operational responsibilities are operating efficiently and effectively with necessary internal and external stakeholders.
