Technical Program Manager II, Logistics Solutions, Cloud Infrastructure

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience in supply chain logistics (e.g., forward logistics, transportation management, warehousing, third-party labs management, etc.).
  • Experience with warehouse and transportation systems (e.g., Blue Yonder, SAP, Manhattan).

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience with warehouse and transportation supply chain processes.
  • Experience using JDA/Blue Yonder, Mercurygate, SAP, or Manhattan Associates transportation management systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to present analysis in a clear and compelling manner.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

The Logistics Solutions team’s goal is to lead transformational Logistics solutions programs in warehouse, transportation, and compliance space in collaboration with business and engineering organizations.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead product life-cycle of software tools for Logistics that drive industry leading uptime, define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Direct and manage the complete life-cycle of programs which includes the planning, design, testing, and implementation of business solutions to meet the requirements.
  • Manage product documentation, phase gate reviews, communication, and user feedback collection at various stages in the life-cycle.
  • Lead the collaboration among Engineering, Product Management, Operations and Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment on strategic product and technology roadmaps.
