Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in Go-to-Market Strategy, Business Strategy, Management Consulting, or Program Management, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience in analytics, including spreadsheet analysis, presentations, and data management.
  • Experience working with executive level stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA degree.
  • Experience structuring strategy for business organizations including experience in either management consulting or within internal strategy teams.
  • Experience record of leading large, complex projects and delivering end-to-end outcomes.
  • Familiarity with key products/businesses including mobile devices, OEMs, Telcos, and AI.
  • Understanding of the partner and market landscape for Platforms and Devices products.
  • Ability to identify and assess strategic opportunities, with the understanding of their potential impact on business growth.

The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

The Platforms and Devices Partnerships Strategy and Operations team creates and drives cohesive business strategy across the suite of Platforms and Devices (P&D) products: Android, Play, ChromeOS, Photos, Privacy Sandbox and more. We deeply understand the partner ecosystem and markets in which these products operate, and apply structured analysis and reasoning to help develop and execute strategy. We also drive thought leadership across our products and markets to inform strategic decisions across the Platforms and Devices and broader Global Partnerships leadership teams. We also partner closely across key stakeholders in Business Development, Engineering Productivity , Marketing, Finance, and the broader GP/PSGTM organizations to drive scaled impact for our business and product partners.

In this role, you will drive our business strategy on scaled and emerging products within Platforms and Devices at Google. You will have the opportunity to work at the bleeding edge of product and business innovation across Android OEM ecosystems. You will also have the opportunity to partner with and learn from incredible, experienced Business Development leaders. Finally, you will have the chance to work with an amazing, thoughtful Strategy and Operations team within the Platforms and Devices Partnerships Strategy organization.The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $180,000-$267,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Lead commercial/business strategy and operations for the Android Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Technology teams within Platforms and Devices Partnerships.
  • Drive strategic initiatives in partnership with cross-functional teams to deliver on our business objectives and contribute to Android growth and engagement.
  • Run initiatives supporting key business objectives including new technologies and features, premium device adoption, device longevity.
  • Support Business Development Leads as Class of Service (CoS) covering key team initiatives including team strategy, executive communications, team meetings, and offsites
  • Serve as a thought leadership and strategic partner to Platforms and Devices leadership to inform critical decisions, risks, and opportunities.
