Senior Product Operations Manager, Google Customer Solutions

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in product or program management.
  • 4 years of experience with data analysis and data tools (e.g., SQL, MySQL, Tableau, etc.).
  • 4 years of experience working with systems design and product design.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Applied Science, or a related technical field.
  • 4 years of experience with data-driven analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to manage and communicate with multiple stakeholders, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize business goals and drive alignment across stakeholder audiences.
  • Ability to be flexible and work in a fast-changing environment.
  • Excellent project management, relationship management and change management skills.

The Google Customer Solutions (GCS) Business Strategy and Operations (BSO) organization provides business critical insights, ensures cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams to drive global initiatives forward. BSO is the global team within Google Customer Solutions (GCS) that makes sure Google's ever-evolving business runs smoothly and scales. Experts in leading process improvements and consistency, team members are investigative with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done. We develop large scale initiatives to deliver customer success and set high-level goals to improve productivity.

Within BSO, this team’s mission is to empower GCS to grow customers globally by delivering solutions through technology and operational excellence. We do this by partnering closely and building trust with GCS business and technology teams to deliver excellent products/solutions for our users. We are laser focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with operations, and helping evolve early stage ideas into future feature initiatives.

In this role, you will have a passion for innovation and simplifying the user experience of tools for our Business and Marketing teams. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $146,000-$213,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Garner impactful product insights by understanding the user, workflows, business and marketing processes, and the initiatives of the business.
  • Identify gaps in current tools and infrastructure, prioritizing and crafting business cases to validate the importance of new feature requests.
  • Articulate business requirements to our Product Management and Engineering teams and influence the quarterly/annual roadmap to address them.
  • Partner globally with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs. Collaborate with product teams on design sprints, Product Requirement Documents, Business Requirement Documents, and product/business pilots.
  • Develop launch plans, identifying risks and updating stakeholders along the way. Manage new product/feature launches.
