Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in sales, marketing, or related commercial field.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 15 years of experience in sales, marketing, or related commercial field with externally customers and partners.
  • Experience in relevant industries such as media sales, technology sales, agency, or client side sales leadership.
  • Experience in sales coaching of both Sales Managers and Sellers, and leading an organisation through direct report managers.
  • Experience presenting to clients and stakeholders, and collaborating in an cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Google’s advertising products and services, as well as the engaged landscape in which they operate.
  • Ability to communicate in Vietnamese fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

In this role, you will be instrumental in expanding our local footprint and leading a team to drive growth. This is a unique opportunity to build our presence in a new market and contribute to our regional success.

You will be responsible for leading and expanding our business in Vietnam with a focus on the Apps and Gaming sectors, you will drive growth, aiming to contribute to our goals for the region. You will manage a local team, cultivate relationships with our partners, and establish a physical presence across key cities. You will also serve as a crucial source of on-the-ground market intelligence, providing insights into local product needs and engaged to inform our global business strategy.

This position is ideal for a driven and entrepreneurial individual who can lead a team, execute a country-specific growth plan, and build a local ecosystem.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Vietnam-based team, fostering a high-performance culture focused on achieving business objectives and professional growth.
  • Develop and implement the country-specific growth plan for Vietnam, driving business expansion and increasing market share in the Apps and Gaming sectors.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key Apps and Gaming partners, ensuring their success and aligning their growth with SellSide’s strategic goals.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for Vietnam-based SellSide teams, collaborating with cross-functional leads to build a local ecosystem and execute strategic initiatives.
  • Act as the site lead for all SellSide operations in Vietnam, ensuring smooth, efficient, and localized execution of business strategies.
