Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in either display optical design, display and system assembly/validation process development or display compensaiton algorithm development.
Preferred qualifications:
- PhD in Optical Engineering or related field.
- Experience troubleshooting challenging issues and DOE planning.
- Experience with manufacturing requirements for consumer products.
- Experience with one of the focus areas of display technology: display optical design including test and validation, display and system assembly/validation process development, display compensation algorithm development.
- Interest in building optical setups and making optical measurements.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Design and ship first class display modules for Pixels.
- Work with suppliers on design, troubleshooting and validation to ensure display meets design and system requirements. Manage and communicate design target/requirement with vendors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide design guidance, trade-offs, and solutions for system integration and validation.
- Innovate and troubleshoot for challenging issues.
- Perform risk assessment and evaluation planning with new technologies.
