Senior Security Advisor, Office of the CISO

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in a technical project management or a customer-facing role.
  • 10 years of experience in Financial Services, Manufacturing, Telecommunication or Healthcare sectors.
  • 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud computing, emerging technologies, or a related role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 12 years of experience in managing security-related advisory or implementation projects, and working with security controls design, security architecture, cyber risk management, or customer-side cloud security technologies.
  • 7 years of experience in a technical leadership role.

The Office of the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) is a security advisory team and has a mission of supporting the security and digital transformation of governments, critical infrastructure, enterprises, and small business.

In this role, you will enable the adoption of Google Cloud by Singapore's enterprises. You will help to establish Google Cloud as the trusted partner for security transformation, you will be responsible for serving as a principal advisor in customer engagements at the C-level across all industry sectors in Japan. You will serve as cybersecurity thought leaders in industry forums and expected to develop thought leadership focused on driving the adoption of security practices across enterprises.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. Customers in more than 200 countries and territories turn to Google Cloud as their trusted partner to enable growth and solve their most critical business problems.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with executive technical leaders (e.g., Enterprise Architects, Chief Data Officers, and Chief Technology Officers) complementing the Office of the Chief Information Security Officer (OCISO).
  • Extend OCISO's scope by engaging with C-level stakeholders on security architecture discussions, thought leadership and customer messaging/communications.
  • Design and evolve security architectures tailored to critical sectors.
  • Work across all industry sectors in Japan including Financial Services, Healthcare, Public Sector, Telecom, Retail, and Manufacturing to support cybersecurity/cloud security engagement with C-level clients in these sectors.
  • Collaborate with OCISO's Trusted Architecture function to extend technical solution designs into enterprise architecture frameworks.
