Strategy and Operations Lead, gTech Ads Solutions

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Technology, Engineering, Business, Economics, Data Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 6 years of experience in consulting, software, Internet, media industries, or early stage companies
  • 6 years of experience structuring and executing analyses to support strategy

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA
  • Experience in a management consulting firm or equivalent project management experience in a strategy function for software, Internet, media industries or early stage companies
  • Experience with senior stakeholder management and executive conversations, written and verbal, both internal and external
  • Experience leading operational and cross-functional initiatives, thriving in ambiguity, and driving strategy in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment; with a strong executive presence
  • Excellent project management, problem solving/analysis, written/verbal communication and people skills
  • Domain expertise in Operations, Customer Solutions and Internet/Online Media

The Go-To-Market organization provides strategic business insights, ensures cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps leadership identify and drive strategic programs and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

gTech Ads provides technical and media expertise across all Google Ads products to support our global Sales and Partnerships teams. gTech Ads takes a customer-centric, creative, and collaborative approach to provide a range of services - technical and measurement solutions along with consultative support for our large customers, media solutions aligned to customers marketing and business needs, implementation support for complex ads campaigns, customer support, and enabling of help and in-product help.

In this role, you will power the largest team within gTech Ads driving integrated technical and media solutions at scale, and will have a rare opportunity to drive a very significant, multi-year business transformation which is currently underway.

Responsibilities

  • Define, structure, launch and drive strategic and operational initiatives for gTech Ads Solutions teams, while acting as a strategic thought partner to the leadership.
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders and leaders to gather relevant information, context, and drive business analysis with effective project communication and management.
  • Enable critical business decision making by working with cross-functional stakeholders and cross-pollinate learnings.
  • Partner with gTech Ads Solutions leadership in end-to-end driving of strategic initiatives (including global priorities).
  • Provide oversight and connectivity to business-focused standalone initiatives and removing roadblocks to execution, and eliminating conflicts.
