Strategy and Insights Manager, Gaming, Apps, Large Customer Sales (English, Mandarin)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in media analytics, advertising sales, digital media and marketing, consulting, or financial analysis.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently to support client relationship management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 7 years of experience in consulting, digital marketing strategy, or business intelligence within the Gaming or Apps industry, with the knowledge of mobile app business models and the Google advertising ecosystem.
  • Experience with translating data into business insights, with the ability to structure problems into frameworks.
  • Experience in collaborating with executive stakeholders, with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work with quantitative data and interpret metrics, understand statistical significance, and spot anomalies in data, with the knowledge of SQL for ad-hoc data extraction.

In this role, you will act as a consultant for the Gaming, App clients. You will bridge the gap between data and business strategy, leveraging the investigative background to build narratives that drive growth.Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales leaders to act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders. Diagnose business tests in user acquisition and business generation, and prescribe data-motivated solutions.
  • Translate investigative outputs into business stories. Move beyond reporting numbers to provide solutions to business questions. Collaborate in client strategy and budget allocation.
  • Collaborate with internal Data Analysts to define research scope. Interpret the results, and synthesize them into go-to-market recommendations.
  • Leverage industry knowledge to identify emerging trends in the App ecosystem and pitch opportunities to clients.
  • Utilize internal dashboards and measurement tools to monitor client performance. Use basic data skills to validate hypotheses before commissioning analysis.
