Video Strategy and Activation Lead

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in digital media, sales, marketing, or product roles, or 6 years with an advanced degree.
  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working in sales or strategy in the Streaming or Social Video Space.
  • Experience in planning, buying and measuring offline or online media.
  • Experience with video advertising solutions.
  • Ability to develop and deliver messages that translate into sales narratives and influence audiences across all levels of an organization.
  • Excellent business acumen with a proven track record of both identifying how market trends will translate into business opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills.

As a Video Strategy and Activation Lead, you will work closely with Google's largest brand advertisers and Google's internal LCS (Large Customer Sales) team to transform the way they build brands on YouTube and across our video platforms. You will act as a thought leader in brand strategy, a creative inspiration for brand solutions, an innovator in new media strategy, a gold mine of consumer insights and an expert in all things YouTube and Video. You will plan advertiser consults and discussions around how to maximize their use of the platform and develop YouTube and Video narratives for account teams.

We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business teams to provide YouTube and Video business growth driving support, through industry/business, product experience and go-to-market strategy.
  • Identify new opportunities for Google to drive incremental impact in the market, and incubate solutions in market.
  • Develop, leverage (global and regional) and refine go-to-market strategy with the purpose to improve business teams approach to supporting clients with large, multi-faceted media propositions.
  • Expert communication skills, lead customer meetings and workshops, ensuring engaged perspectives and differentiated value propositions are presented through unique, market-relevant insights.
  • Own a video business goal across a set of key verticals.
