Business Intelligence Sales Specialist I, Google Cloud (French, English)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in a sales role in the enterprise software or cloud space, cloud or AI space.
  • Experience planning, pitching, and executing a territory sales strategy.
  • Experience working with sales engineers and customer’s technical leads to build business cases for transformation and the plan for implementation.
  • Experience in technology selling/consulting, data analysis, or Business Intelligence.
  • Ability to communicate in English and French fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience at engaging and collaborating with executive stakeholders as a business advisor and thought leader in BI.
  • Experience executing commercial and legal agreements with procurement, legal, and business teams.
  • Experience and understanding of the Data Analytics (DA) technology stack.

As a Business Intelligence (BI) Sales Specialist, you will help us grow our BI business by building and expanding relationships with new and existing customers. In this role, you will work with customers to deliver true business value, demonstrate product functionality, and provide a comprehensive overview of business use cases. You will lead day-to-day relationships with cross-functional team members (e.g. Data Analytics Sales Specialists, Field Sales, Customer Engineering) and external customers, leading with empathy, while identifying innovative ways to multiply your impact and the impact of the team as a whole to drive overall value for Google Cloud.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with customers as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor, managing business cycles, identifying solution use cases, and influencing direction of accounts.
  • Deliver against quota and achieve or exceed business and growth goals while forecasting and reporting your territory’s business.
  • Work with Google accounts and cross-functional teams (e.g. Customer Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Channels) to develop go-to-market strategies, drive pipeline and business growth, close agreements, understand the customer, and provide prospect and customer experience.
  • Develop and execute account plans, including a broader enterprise plan across industries; focus on building accounts.
  • Work with multiple customers and opportunities simultaneously, understanding each customer’s technology footprint and strategy, growth plans, business drivers, participants, and how they can transform their business using our technologies.
