Global Category Business Manager, Pixel Watch

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in product/category management, marketing, business strategy, investment banking, or a related area.
  • Experience in presenting to and advising executive leadership.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience within mobile OEM, carrier, or retailer business.
  • Experience executing complex strategic and operational initiatives on a global scale.
  • Experience generating forecasts for supply/demand.
  • Experience in running simulations.
  • Understanding of the mobile industry through carriers, retailers, and related technologies.
  • Ability to be successful in relevant positions encompassing consumer/business intelligence, consumer product marketing, product management, commercial management, category management, go-to-market, market research, or strategic planning within mobile phone or consumer electronics industry focus.

As a Global Category Business Manager for Pixel Watches, you will collaborate with the Head of Global Category Business Management in order to maximize Pixel sales and profit. This role involves leading the global Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy for the assigned product category, collaborating with various global and regional cross-functional (XFN) stakeholders. You will be adept at leading initiatives to drive sales and profit, possessing a strong analytical foundation, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to grow in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic plans for the assigned product category, including product positioning, pricing, and promotion. Work closely with the product planning team to ensure that new products align with the overall category strategy.
  • Analyze market trends and customer insights to identify new growth opportunities and potential risks.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure campaigns and promotional activities are aligned with category strategy and drive demand and business growth. Collaborate closely with Sales Operations teams to monitor sales performance metrics to ensure the category is meeting business and profitability goals.
  • Conduct regular competitive analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in the market.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including regional Category Managers, Sales teams and regional sales operations. Provide regular reporting to the leadership team.
