Customer Onboarding Strategist (Mandarin, English)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or a marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English and Mandarin to engage with clients in the region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or management consulting.
  • Ability to proactively reach out to customers/cold calling, and enjoy helping customers to add value to their business.

You work with a highly engaged, fun team and bring creativity to grow and transform. The Customer Onboarding team operates like a Start-Up - 'Run It Like You Own It' mentality - to enable creativity thought-leadership with a self-management team practice.

In this role, you will flex your strengths in product knowledge, consultative selling (upsell/pitch to the clients), and account management. You will work cross-functionally with the acquisitions, product, program, and same-store teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a new customer portfolio for six months to set them up for long-term success with their digital advertising journey.
  • Deliver against assigned customer goals while prioritizing and deliver an outstanding onboarding experience.
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, product, and program teams to deliver seamless customer handovers.
  • Implement creative ways to improve the customer relationships. Tailor and share performance-enhancing suggestions and promote other Google products.
  • Provide strategic advice to help the advertisers get the best return on their investment by working closely with them in a consultative role.
