Manager, gTech Ads Sellside

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.
  • 2 years of experience with people management.
  • Experience in either system design or reading code (e.g., Java, C++, Python).
  • Experience with internet technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Experience with SQL, XML, HTTP protocols.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or Applied Science, or a related field.
  • 10 years of experience with data analysis and SQL/MySQL.
  • Experience working with bidding and mediation platforms, 3P networks and platform competitive landscape.
  • Experience in managing executive-level business stakeholders in a global organization.
  • Understanding of how a partner's user acquisition and ads business generation strategy work together in BI system to maximize Return on Investment (ROI).
  • Ability to work with both user acquisition and ads business generation side of IAA (in app ads) business model.

We provide a range of services from enabling better self help and in-product support, to providing better support through interactions, setting up accounts and implementing ad campaigns, and providing media solutions for customers business and marketing needs and providing complex technical and measurement solutions along with consultative support for our large customers. These solutions range from bespoke and customized ones for our customers to scalable support for millions of customers worldwide. Based on the evolving needs of our ads customers, we partner with Sales, Product and Engineering teams within Google to develop better solutions, tools, and services to improve our products and enhance our client experience. As a cross-functional and global team, we ensure our customers get the best return on investment with Google and we remain a trusted partner.

The gTech Ads Sellside team supports the Global Partnerships’ Sellside organization’s strategic priorities and growth initiatives.

As a Manager, gTech Ads Sellside, you will be responsible for a team of Technical Solutions Consultants supporting Google’s partners across industry including broadcasters, app developers and traditional news publishers. The team is composed of Technical Solution Consultants and Solutions Consultants aligned vertically with Sellside business. This role works collaboratively across gTech, Product, and Engineering teams to bring the best solutions to help achieve publisher business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the team to support Greater China sellside business and deliver technical solutions and support across the Greater China SellSide industry.
  • Drive the strategic outlook of the organization, establishing close relationships with executive leaders in Global Partnerships, Product Management, and Engineering teams, to ensure strategic alignment on opportunities and customer priorities making professional services a competitive differentiator while driving efficiency.
  • Manage and direct executive level conversations with stakeholders and customers to successfully translate business objectives into technical projects.
  • Define priorities and resourcing plans and manage the gTech Sellside GRCN team, focused on depth and breadth of impact.
