Director, Product Management, Agentic Foundations and Experiences

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience leading product management teams, creating enterprise software products and platforms.
  • Experience with private and public cloud design considerations in the areas of developer and operator productivity, virtualization, containers, performance computing, data, security and configuration/policy automation.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or Business.
  • Experience leading Product Development of 2nd generation cloud products at scale.

As a Director, you will shape the future of AI-first, autonomous, predictive, and proactive analytics experiences within Google Data Cloud, accelerating time to value for our users.

In this role, you will encompass both Agentic foundations and Agentic experiences. You'll be instrumental in advancing Google's pioneering innovations in NL2SQL and NL2 Python, with an emphasis on Quality and Evaluations. You'll craft and own intuitive, persona-specific specialized agentic experiences such as Data Canvas and Conversational Analytics across Google Data Cloud products, with a deeper focus on Google BigQuery and Looker.

Additionally, the role encompasses the strategy for APIs/tools that allow developers to integrate Google data cloud agents with their own agents and AI efforts creating a single, intelligent ecosystem.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $272,000-$383,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Own the long-term product outlook and strategic roadmap for the agentic foundations and agentic experiences across BigQuery and Looker. Define and own integrations and collaborations with diverse Google Cloud AI ecosystems including Vertex AI and AgentSpace.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and user research to development, launch, and iteration, ensuring seamless collaboration with engineering, UX design, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence in product execution.
  • Define and track key product performance metrics, analyze data to derive insights, and continuously optimize the product to achieve significant user value, market adoption, and business growth.
  • Build relationships and influence executive leadership and cross-functional partners across Google to secure resources, drive alignment, and achieve strategic product goals.
