Staff Software Engineer, Health and Fitness Platform Development

  • 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects.

  • Experience building production product backends and infrastructure.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Android application development.
  • Experience with Android.
  • Experience automating and scaling web or mobile back-ends.

Responsibilities

  • Design, guide, and vet systems designs within the scope of the team and/or broader area.
  • Contribute directly to product evolution through code and resolve ambiguous, complex issues.
  • Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices.
  • Lead multiple technical projects to deliver high quality and usable products for our customers across domains (e.g., Mobile, Backend, logging/analytics).
  • Influence direction and roadmap of our product requirements and prioritization within your domain and across subteams, balancing new development with technical debt. Comply with all company health and safety policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
