Principal Technical Program Manager, Planning

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Planning, Operations Research, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in Cloud, technical infrastructure or equivalent planning experience.
  • 10 years of experience working in and transforming planning processes, systems and tools including demand and supply planning, capacity planning, constraint based planning, transformation and change management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Supply Chain Planning, Operations Research, Engineering, AI or other technical related field.
  • Experience with one or more demonstrated planning leadership in: server, power, data center, networking/networking planning, or machine delivery.
  • Experience in planning transformation with complex systems, constraints, and building scalable enterprise solutions.
  • Understanding of analytics, reasoning, and AI enablement for decision making constructs like S&OP, multithreaded what-if scenario analysis, dynamic applications, and efficiency gains.

As the Principal Planning Lead, you will understand the end-to-end technical and constraint challenges of taking chips received from fabs around the world, and turning them into highly-connected cloud offerings operating in gigawatt-scale data centers. You will be reviewing capacity planning programs and providing direction and decision-making in order to make sure that the usable network capacity is maximized over the smallest delivery time horizon. You will knit together the seams of different technical, product and financial organizations to help them produce a globally-optimal outcome for cloud networking capacity.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $272,000-$383,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Be accountable for setting and delivering technical planning related programs for Google-level OKRs around MW capacity delivery into the fleet. 
  • Play a key role in overall portfolio management for existing BW/Networking capacity and related infrastructure. 
  • Support the development of the company’s global Networking strategy and execution.
  • Be responsible for a strategy that encompasses more than 20 countries across three continents.
  • Be responsible for acting as a key technical leader for Global Technical Infrastructure planning, engaging with other leaders across the region and globally.
