Technical Program Manager, Product Operations Digitization

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience in program management.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure infrastructure on GCP or equivalent environments.
  • Experience working with JavaScript, Angular, Python, or Cloud APIs.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience working with JavaScript, Angular, Python, or Cloud APIs.
  • Experience in building cloud services using cloud frameworks like Google Cloud.
  • Ability to solve problems, drive results, and automate processes for efficiency gains.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and run systems that automate Alphabet’s supply chain. Identify opportunities to automate manual processes. Collaborate with relevant teams to develop tools and scripts that streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Translate technical and engineering issues into clear, concise summaries that are easily understood by management and cross-functional teams. Facilitate communication between different teams and ensure coordination.
  • Provide comprehensive program management support, including ongoing development of processes, templates, escalation procedures, and reporting mechanisms.
  • Author stakeholder maps that specify who is impacted by and who influences program outcome in collaboration with program stakeholders.
  • Prepare presentations and reports that distill data into insights.
