As Director, you will lead a team of engineers in the product development of phones and first-party goods, integrating technologies across various functional domains. Your leadership will guide the team through all stages, from early product concept, system architecture, engineering design and validation, to mass production. Your comprehensive understanding of hardware, software, and silicon will enable the team to define and develop high-performance, high-quality devices that offer users innovative and influential experiences.

The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow the Electrical Engineering team in Pixel Taiwan.
  • Manage and coordinate multiple activities across multiple stakeholders in Silicon, Pixel Hardware, Pixel Software, and Operating organizations.
  • Manage and coordinate activities across a global team spread across APAC and US. Collaborate closely with the cross-functional leaders.
