Whether understanding and solving their online content concerns, navigating within global legal frameworks, or writing and enforcing worldwide policy, the Trust & Safety team is on the frontlines of enhancing the YouTube experience, building internet safety, and protecting free speech in our ever-evolving digital world.

As a Policy Enforcement Manager working in the Cross Policy and New Products space, you will be part of a tight knit, global team with exposure across all of Trust & Safety’s verticals, as well as a close partnership with YouTube product teams. In addition, you will also oversee Operations for several products as part of our cross-policy (XPOL) business, which features a portfolio of 1200 agents, 200+ queues, and 70+ languages. This role is fast paced, highly visible, and has a large scope.

As part of your core work, you will design and implement enforcement and operations workflows to support new product/feature launches, monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for your product portfolio and provide timely and clear communications across the YouTube Trust and Safety organization. With your deep expertise of new and existing products, you will also provide key insights and recommendations for new feature's risk assessments.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $108,000-$158,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Leads Enforcement and Operations Management for YouTube Livestream, new products (such as Shopping), and YouTube's 'Cross Policy' workflows.
  • Develop, design and drive to completion projects that result in significant workflow/process improvements.
  • Support YouTube XPS (Cross Product Safety) team and partner with stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Business Analytics, Vendor Operations to ensure products on YouTube can launch in a safe and trusted manner.
  • Oversee the management of metrics/KPIs for enforcement and operations across your product portfolio.
  • Review graphic, controversial and offensive video content in-line with YouTube’s Community Guidelines.
