Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience gathering and presenting technical and financial data to promote products, services, and solutions.
  • 4 years of experience working in a customer-facing role.
  • 3 years of experience using the sales lifecycle to drive business.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Korean to collaborate with colleagues and complete tasks and projects.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience analyzing and applying industry, market, product and organizational information to strategies and plans.
  • 2 years of experience managing the pipeline throughout the entire business process.
  • Experience with financial statements to connect marketing outcomes to business results.
  • Experience in the retail, or e-commerce industry.
  • Understanding of the digital advertising and measurement ecosystem (e.g. attribution, experiments).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to executive and C-level stakeholders.

As a Media Effectiveness lead focusing on Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) at Google, you will play a pivotal role in empowering the clients to optimize their marketing investments through advanced statistical modeling and data-driven insights. You will be a trusted advisor, guiding clients through complex MMM analyses, translating technical findings into actionable business strategies, and influencing executive-level decision-making. You will be responsible for driving the adoption of measurement methodologies and fostering a culture of data-driven marketing within Google and with client ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Lead MMM and analysis by consulting on MMM models using Python, R, or other statistical tools. Conduct analysis of marketing data to identify key drivers of performance and provide recommendations. Guide customers through modeling discussions, explain statistical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Serve as a consultant to clients, advising on measurement strategies and best practices. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including marketing executives and agency partners.
  • Collaborate with sales, product, and customer teams to drive momentum on MMM conversations and unblock where needed. Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new measurement methodologies and tools.
  • Identify opportunities to improve Google's MMM capabilities and drive innovation in the field. Advocate for the adoption of advanced measurement techniques within the industry.
