Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in a management consulting, operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital or private equity role, or 4 years of experience with an advanced degree.
- 3 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
- 2 years of experience developing business strategies or managing cross-functional initiatives.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience executing complex operational initiatives with strong problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of best practices in business operations, compliance, and risk management.
- Ability to work with different team members to design processes and implement projects that solve business problems.
- Excellent proficiency in structuring and conducting analysis and messaging using spreadsheets and presentations.
- Excellent communication and people-management skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to audiences.

The newly formed Risk, Compliance and Integrity organization (RCI) brings together critical compliance, assurance, risk and governance functions across Google to help the company meet compliance needs and enable our businesses to innovate. Our goal is to make compliance an advantage for Google by driving scaled, and policy-based compliance programs. We manage our operations through risk-based prioritization and governance and consistent and constructive regulator engagement.
The RCI Business Operations and Governance team is responsible for helping to support and transform our Risk, Compliance and Integrity organization and strategy. In this role, you will partner with leadership to help set and activate the strategy of the organization, partner with Finance to drive proactive budget management (aligned with our overarching goals), drive annual planning, help set and proactively monitor KPIs to drive accountability towards our strategy, taking action when needed to drive desired business outcomes, and help drive flawless, effective operations that enable our business to succeed.
In this role, you will include components of strategy (e.g. analyzing and understanding new trends in the industry, building business plans), operations (e.g. running the cadence of organizations, connecting the operating lines between our functions), and communications.
Responsibilities
- Implement and manage a robust OKR framework that aligns with RCI’s strategic priorities.
- Serve as a point of contact and subject matter expert for resourcing, acting as the key liaison with Cross-functional partners (e.g., Finance, People Operations, and Global Affairs Resource Management).
- Deliver insights into RCI’s total budget, making recommendations to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Drive annual planning initiatives for RCI working internally across functions, as well as coordinating with other teams within the broader organization.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational performance of RCI with a focus on increasing compliance efficacy, simplicity and scale.
