  • 7 years of experience driving work independently, and working cross-functionally to influence priorities/strategy.
  • Experience in consumer and market insights and understanding of competitive trends and opportunities.
  • Ability to see granular as well as big-picture challenges.
  • Excellent communication, project management, analytical, and organizational skills.

As the Strategic Insights Lead, you'll play a critical role in the way Large Customer Sales goes to market and achieves its most ambitious opportunities. You will drive key new product and go to market narratives unique to the Government and Advocacy sector, and focus on the vertical's biggest opportunities. You will craft scalable narratives, and bolster thought leadership by anchoring on critical business objectives and collaborating at scale to amplify impact.

Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and
industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000-$205,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Pair first and third-party data analysis to develop fresh industry, consumer, and engaged views with clear business and marketing implications to accelerate client's growth.
  • Support the team’s Research Lead in development of Government and Advocacy-focused primary research studies. Craft narratives leveraging the research to unlock new growth opportunities for clients.
  • Own development of keynote(s) for critical industry events and conferences. Lead cohesion throughout event content to persuade clients to think and act differently.
  • Partner closely with vertical leadership to ensure their go-to-market perspective positions them as trusted thought leaders across the industry.
  • Develop and drive the vertical's thought leadership strategy, including effective prioritization around highest impact initiatives.
