Strategic Partnerships Development Manager, Health and Life Sciences (German, English)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, strategy consulting or an industry role within the Healthcare and Life Sciences sector.
  • Industry experience of the Healthcare and Life Sciences sector.
  • Experience working with C-level executives.
  • Experience managing agreements or forming partnerships.
  • Ability to communicate in German and English fluently to interact with local stakeholders and the wider team.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Demonstrable understanding of regulatory environment that health organizations operate within and the challenges they face.
  • Knowledge and passion in AI, with capability to envision and articulate AI technology’s application externally and internally.
  • Demonstrated program and partner management skills, with experience in executing complex strategic and operational initiatives.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, to solve complex problems and to scale effectively across a large and highly distributed organization.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

Responsibilities

  • Apply insights from the health and life sciences industry alongside emerging AI technology, to strategically “spot the plays” that create mutual value for Google teams and for partners.
  • Identify, lead and execute holistic cross-functional initiatives across Google’s teams and products in Health and Life Sciences, including executive engagements, joint business plans and transformational deals covering multiple opportunities.
  • Collaborate with senior Health and Regional decision-makers to remove roadblocks for Top Partners and the industry, resulting in commercial/relationship outcomes.
  • Facilitate and coordinate across different teams working with our partners, creating internal transparency and clear objectives to drive commercial or reputational success.
  • Engage with ecosystems to assess industry challenges in areas such as health data regulation or privacy, and help shape Google’s point of view and market position.
