Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in digital marketing, marketing research, analytics and consulting.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience analyzing data sets, and managing first and third-party research and tools.
  • Experience working cross-functionally to influence priorities and experience in one of the following categories: Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Retail, Automotive, Financial Services, Travel/Tourism.
  • Experience with hypothesis-driven thinking to shape engaged presentations to executive level audiences along with excellent communication and storytelling skills and the ability to translate ideas into stories.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and Google products.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.

In this role, you will serve as a thought partner to sales teams through data-driven storytelling and insights for client growth and relationship outcomes. You will join a fluid cross-vertical team that has a front-row seat for the digital transformation underway across the advertisers in Canada. You will have the opportunity to develop client-centered stories built with insights to position Google as a thought leader. You will also oversee the development of quality, custom research in order to uncover ideas that position Google’s product offerings and drive business strategies.

Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is CAD 136,000-139,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities

  • Position Google as a thought leader and present engaging narratives for clients.
  • Lead development of vertical narratives that enable success for the team in priority areas.
  • Lead consumer-focused primary research programs to unlock new growth opportunities for the vertical.
  • Advocate storytelling principles and visualization, enabling the vertical to elevate their customer conversations. Have knowledge and utilization of Google-only insight tools to shape engaged narratives for clients.
  • Collaborate with the peers, account teams and leads of Industry to shape an insights calendar, prioritize client opportunities and deliver goals.
