Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of industry experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or IT, or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in online ad sales, business-development, marketing or consulting sales.
- Experience in Google Ads account management.
- Ability to deliver results under pressure and show dedication to client services.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and investigative skills.
- Excellent communication, people management and teamwork skills.

As an Industry Manager, you will work with Account Management, Planning, and Creative teams of key advertising agencies in Japan. You will be involved in the upstream planning process for clients’ marketing and communication by making the most of Google’s resources and tools. You will help agency teams incorporate Google platforms, products, and solutions to their planning process in order for them to address clients’ business challenges and grow their business.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Agency partners to help them form marketing solutions. Promote upstream marketing and communication planning processes for their strategic brands leveraging Google's digital capabilities.
- Lead and manage business projects associated with both internal and external stakeholders (i.e., cross-functional teams, Large Customer Sales pods, and agencies’ Account Management, Planning, and Creative divisions, including executive level members).
- Lead discussions with agencies and support their pitches to strategic clients.
- Establish and nurture C-level relationships with Agencies, contribute strategically to the growth and direction of Google’s products and services.
