Minimum qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in the semiconductor industry maintaining equipment such as: Lithography, wet etch, dry etch, thin films, vacuum, deposition, PECVD, CVD or RF.
- Experience troubleshooting Electrical/electronics, Mechanical/pneumatics, software controls or vacuum.
- Experience with gas distribution systems (i.e., installing gas cylinders, chemical handling, etc.).
- Ability to work non-standard hours, including working weekends, holidays and on shift-based schedules as required. Must be able to lift 50lbs and stand for 8 hours.
Preferred qualifications:
- Associate's degree or Trade/Technical School Certificate.
- Experience with using Manufacturing Execution Software (MES).
- Experience supporting emergency response and safety team.
- Experience using diagnostic equipment - using helium leak checking and proficiency with multimeters and oscilloscopes.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, mechanical drawings, and electrical schematics.

The Raxium Facility and Equipment team maintains a broad range of semiconductor/facility equipment and cleanroom infrastructure. Our expertise lies in understanding the relationship between semiconductor processing and its support equipment, enabling us to troubleshoot complex problems, execute tasks, and collaborate on installing, modifying, maintaining, and repairing cleanroom and facility support equipment.
We are looking for a skilled equipment technician to support our microLED and Augmented Reality development. This role focuses on maintaining and repairing critical semiconductor manufacturing equipment. You'll perform scheduled and corrective maintenance on a variety of systems, vacuum, lithography, wet/dry etch, thin film deposition (CVD, RF) and CMP. You’ll also troubleshoot complex issues, understand the interplay between fab and facility systems, and execute tasks related to equipment installation, modification, and repair within a cleanroom environment. You'll work independently and cross-functionally with a team.Google's Raxium display group has established a revolutionary semiconductor materials display technology that enables new functionality in display products, bringing to users a closer and more natural linkage between the digital and physical realms in applications such as augmented reality (AR) and light-field display. With start-up roots and a state-of-the-art compound semiconductor fab in Silicon Valley, Raxium is seeking to build upon its engineering team with an aim to disrupt next-generation display markets.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $87,000-$125,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Perform general, routine, and corrective maintenance as needed.
- Perform Electro/Mechanical troubleshooting.
- Assist with chemical and material handling.
- Supporting a broad range of semiconductor equipment, and work closely with process and equipment engineering to improve equipment performance.
- Support the Equipment Engineering department as needed.
